Don Latham, the managing director of Nets Tasmania regularly travels internationally to communicate with customers developing fish farming worldwide. The company’s Asian and Australian innovations and experience have been successfully introduced to Scandinavian, Canadian and South American fish farms.
We have been using NETS of Tasmania as our preferred net supplier on our West Coast fish farms for ten years. NETS of Tasmania is owned and operated by Don Latham who has decades of knowledge in net design and manufacture and also a wealth of knowledge of the Tasmanian fish farming industry.
Each net is built under direct supervision by Don, which ensures strict adherence to design and superior quality control. This provides us with confidence in the finished product and a guarantee that every net will be “fit for purpose”.

I am able to confirm that the new generation of KGrid 120 M nets currently in use by the Tassal Group have been in the water for 16 months and are proving highly effective in restraint of predator attack by seals and sharks on our Atlantic salmon fish stocks.
